Dear Babu, “Helen and I cannot thank you and your company for the fabulous trek we completed to Annapurna Base Camp (Tim Windsor group April 26 to May 11). The trek will be a highlight for us for years to come, not just because of the spectacular scenery, the wonderful people we met on the trek, the fabulous culture and food, but mostly for the brilliant staff that made our trek possible. A special thank you needs to go to our guide Jeevan and assistant guide Tilak who both guided, cared and laughed with us through the journey. There were times for us that their support made a hard day on the trek so much easier. Of course, nothing would have been possible without the porters that formed an important part of our happy family . Thanks to Robie (always smiling and keen to make sure we were having a good time), Biru (for his friendly, calm approach – he would make a great guide himself), Nabaraj (for caring our things without any complaints and his great smile at the end of those long days) and Mehendra (young, enthusiastic and full of fun). Attached are a few photos we took of the group. At the same time we are putting together a small parcel for the team (some items for the Jeevan and the porters). I will email when this is sent.
