We would like you to pass on our very best wishes and thanks to Ganesh also. I have to tell you, he was marvelous on our trek. I found the walking very difficult, especially as I had developed a cold just before I went, but Ganesh looked after us extremely well and thanks to him I did make it to Gorak Shep and Larry to Base Camp. If it had not been for his encouragement I would have been tempted to give up sooner than I did, and now I am so glad I made it up there as I have amazing memories of the mountains and the people who live there. We can certainly see why Sir Edmund Hillary is so captivated by the place. Base Camp was the highlight of Larry trip, and still is even after our 10 day visit to Rajesthan in India. That too was enjoyable, but neither of us will ever forget our experiences in the Himalayan Mountains.
