Trekkers Information Management System or TIMS is very important for every trekker wanting to trek in Nepal. This is a basic permit implemented by the coordination of the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) to make sure the safety and security of every trekker planning to trek in Nepal.

Annapurna Conservation Area Entry Permit (ACAP)

 

This region was made a conservation area by Nepali Government in 1992. Similarly, the Annapurna Conservation Area is the largest in Nepal. Everyone wanting to trek in this region should compulsorily have Annapurna Conservation Area Entry Permit (ACAP). This conservation area is located across the Manang, Myagdi, Lamjung, and Mustang districts of Nepal. It was established to create sustainable economic and social development to benefit the local people of the region.

  • ACAP entry permit fee for SAARC nationals: NRP 200
