OVERVIEW

Langtang Helambu trek about 72 kilometers northeast of Kathmandu, is noted for its scenic grandeur and pleasant climate. The Helambu region, extending from north of Taramarang to the tree limit of the Gosainkunda Lake and lower slopes of Jugal Himal, has several highland Tamang and Sherpa villages, scattered on both sides of the Malemchi Khola.

This trek is rated as an easier trek because the elevations are lower, ranging between 800m. and 3600m., which indicates less climbing and warmer temperatures. One advantage to this trek is there are fewer trekkers here than on the Annapurna trek and some parts of the Everest treks, but there...

Dear Babu, time flies so fast. It has passed a month since we left Nepal, but we still talk a lot about it, and how we enjoyed our stay, thanks to you and your staff. The most memorable part was Annapurna circuit trek, the mountain scenery with the side trip to Tilicho lake and pass over Throng-la. It was just great! We also fondly remember our guide and porter, that made whole trek much more interesting and fun. So, thank you all, for our great time in Nepal. Also we wish Merry Christmas and a happy New Year 2011 to you personally, and to the whole Unique Path Trekking staff ! Best regards,

Ronald

Dear Babu, It was indeed a lifetime experience for us to be at Mt. Everest Base camp. Though it was our first time to go for such difficult trek but every step of our trek was worth on such a beautiful trek. I would strongly recommend all trekkers seeking little bit of excitement to go for this trek at least once in their lifetime. This trip was very well organized by Unique Path Trek and arrangement made by them right from Kathmandu airport pickup till airport drop were very well managed.” Thanks
