Gokyo Valley Via Renjo Pass Trek is certainly one of the most stunning mountain areas on earth. This short route enables trekkers who have a limited time to discover the most famous beauties of Nepal. Set amongst breath-taking high mountain scenery, the route leads through the Khumbu – Sherpa country. 2 routes are possible: Renjo Pass trek or an alternative itinerary. The trail to Gokyo is a gradual ascent up the valley passing through patches of birch and rhododendron forest where the elusive musk deer can sometimes be seen. Through small yak-grazing settlements, we reach the Gokyo lakes.

The Gokyo Peak (5480m) ascent is the one of the highlights of this circuit. We stay here to savor the incredible scenery, including magnificent views of Everest (8848m), Makalu, Cho Oyo (8153m) and Lhotse (8511m), to name but a few. The Renjo Pass route is off the usual beaten track. At the pass, a great view of the Gokyo lakes on one side, the RermoPokhari lakes on the other side, and a myriad of snowy peaks in the background provides this incredible atmosphere. The alternative route is much easier. From Gokyo, the trail descends along the opposite bank of the Dudh Kosi.

Hi Babu, Our Everest trek with unique path was such an amazing experience. From the first email enquiry to the sad goodbye as our trek ended the staffs were amazing. Our guide and porter were not only that. They were more like friends/big brothers and we enjoyed our nights playing cards and learning magic tricks just as much as we enjoyed the the breath taking views of the mountain, villages and monestry. I would highly recommend choosing Unique Path and Trekking. You get so much more then just a trek.

Dear Babu, It was indeed a lifetime experience for us to be at Mt. Everest Base camp. Though it was our first time to go for such difficult trek but every step of our trek was worth on such a beautiful trek. I would strongly recommend all trekkers seeking little bit of excitement to go for this trek at least once in their lifetime. This trip was very well organized by Unique Path Trek and arrangement made by them right from Kathmandu airport pickup till airport drop were very well managed.” Thanks

Many thanks to uniquepath and the supporting team at Uniquepath trekking. From those who “summitted” Everest Base Camp, trekked the Ghorepani/Ghandruk rhododendrum forests, explored Kathmandu & Pokhara and played with the elephants at Chitwan, we all say dhanyabad !! The mountains were shy and stayed hidden in the mist but the spring flowers bloomed in the hills. Best wishes to you all and to the people of Nepal – “May all the hopes and dreams you have for the future of your country, come true and blossom like the mountain flowers.” We will return.
