Tilicho peak is a little bit hard to climb than the other mountains having height of the around 7000m. The way to this mountain climbing has two ways up to it’s base camp. One way goes via Marshyangdi valley route and another way goes via Kaligandaki valley route. If the teams go through Kaligandaki valley then it is very hard to cross the Messocanto pass, which is situated at 5300m.altitude From the top of this Messokanto pass, the tranquil view of Tilicho lake can be seen.

The base camp is located near the Tilicho Lake at 4800m high. It takes a few days rest for acclimatization at this base camp. The camp 1 at 5800m is located on a long way distance through the ridges of the mountain. It is little bit hard times to reach and climb on the camp 1. From there also the panoramic view of Tilicho lake down below can be seen.

Camp 2 is located at high of approximately 6200m and way is more difficult to reach at this point. We should use the fixed rope on the way to reach camp 2. The elevation is about 40 Degree slope. From camp 2, the way directly goes to the Top of the Tilicho pea; and the climbing is little bit hard with an elevation of 60 degree up towards the top Tilicho peak. Some times there are chances of avalanche, so team should be careful at this time to go ahead climbing. By end of reaching on the top the ridge is little bit difficult to climb.

Dear Babu, “Our trekking trip was very well planned and executed by Unique Path Trekking, from when Babu met up with us at the hotel upon arriving in Kathmandu, right through to the day of our departure at the end of the trek. Babu and his team took care of all the arrangements and administration throughout the entire trip, leaving us to focus on enjoying the trek. The sights along the trek were breathtaking, and really have to be seen in first person to appreciate the majestic and gigantic scenery. Well done to Babu and his team for a great trekking experience.” All the best with your company and future endeavours Babu, and please pass on Bob’s and my regards and best wishes to Raam and his studies Regards,

Hi Babu I am writing to say a big thank you to you and your staff so making our visit to Nepal so amazing! We did the Langtang Valley trek and loved every minute of it. Everything was so well organised – the airport pick up, accommodation, meals, day tour of Kathmandu, trip to Syabrubesi, the trek itself and all the way back to the airport. You are incredibly prompt with your email responses, which makes it very easy to book the details of the trip and the website offers lots of useful information. It has been a pleasure booking through your company and we in particular appreciated the free hire of the sleeping bags and walking poles. Our guide for Kathmandu (his name slips my memory, but I think it was a Buddhist name for protector?) was extremely knowledgeable and could answer all of our questions fluently. He was very patient and gave us the option of staying longer in each place. An act I will remember is at one of the sites, a man came up to him and asked him to ask us for money. He explained to the begging man that it is not what should be asked of tourists and instead gave him some money out of his own pocket. This exemplifies great customer service and tourist care (not just in the moment, but this act also goes a long way to set an example and ensure the enjoyment of future tourists). The tour plan was very appropriate for our time and ability. Shambhu Rai was our guide, and we were VERY impressed with him. He was so friendly and professional at all times. We really felt safe and comfortable throughout the trek and learnt a lot from him about cultural aspects of the villages we visited, the natural environment, history, and everything in between. We really feel enriched by the experience. His English was very good, and his knowledge and desire to share his knowledge with us was very exceptional. Being organised is a key requirement for any guide, and we couldn’t fault Shambhu in any way. Absolutely everything was very well attended too which made for a very smooth experience. He went out of his way on the final day of trekking to take us through Sherpagon (a place we expressed interest in earlier in the trek). He didn’t have to do this, and it would have been easier for him to just go down the way we came up but he suggested it as it would be more interesting for us. Staff that are willing to go above and beyond for their clients should definitely be recognised. Resham Simkhada was our porter, and again, we can only speak very highly of him. We are still trying to understand how people can carry so much weight and do so for such periods of time up and down hill (!!). And in Resham’s case, do it with a smile the whole way!! Although Resham is still practicing his English, he made an effort to help out where he could – preparing the apple each night and playing cards with us in the evenings. He worked hard the entire trip and again, there is absolutely nothing to fault him on. We will most certainly recommend your services to others and will get in touch for any future visits to beautiful Nepal. Thanks again

Babu….I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the trek we took with Ram and Sannu (spelling) …. without them and all of their careful guiding we would not have had much success. Ram was very aware of all of us and our limitations and how we were doing…I do not think any of us were aware of the effects of the high altitude and how exhausting the hiking could be at those heights…..Ram was great…easy to talk to, very knowledgeable, very well organized, very much in control, and a very nice person to be around. Though I did not have any real problems, he was very sensitive to the health and well-being of everyone…and when there was a need he was there…..including finding horses for those in our group that were having problems getting down…. I think that Sannu has the ability to be an exceptional guide…under Ram guidance he was a great help…high energy, great spirit, always a happy face and ready to help….he does need to learn English in a serious way…without this skill he will always be limited to an assistant role, when his personality is one that would inspire leadership…. If anyone asks I would say our trek with your organization was very professional, very well organized, easily adaptable to changes, and very enjoyable. It provided all the guidance, information and physical help necessary to make for an exceptionally wonderful experience… Thanks gain for a job well done and I hope to see you again soon…I will recommend your group to everyone and nayone who would go trekking in Nepal…….. Best regards….

Dear Babu, Many thanks for organising such nice Annapurna trekking for me. I was very satisfied with both boys: Suvas and Biru. They are very friendly and help me by anything. The tea houses, when we have slept, habe been always the best in the villlage! Everythink was perfectly planned and organised, so I have no reason to worry. Upon of this I was treated with so much care like a baby 🙂 Many thanks also for borrowing me warm and clean sleeping bag – without it I would probably get ill. The vacation is one of the most extraordinary and stunning in my life. I will recommend your agency to my familly and friend. Of course I would like to come back on the Nepal trails once again! I am staing in Kathmandu till 6.11. Could you please send a taxi for me to the Back Yeard hotel at 4:30 PM? The hotel is not easy to find, if that is the problem we can make an appointment in from of Kathmandu Geust hous, to be not confused. Please let me know what you prefer. Best regards
