Tilicho peak is a little bit hard to climb than the other mountains having height of the around 7000m. The way to this mountain climbing has two ways up to it’s base camp. One way goes via Marshyangdi valley route and another way goes via Kaligandaki valley route. If the teams go through Kaligandaki valley then it is very hard to cross the Messocanto pass, which is situated at 5300m.altitude From the top of this Messokanto pass, the tranquil view of Tilicho lake can be seen.

The base camp is located near the Tilicho Lake at 4800m high. It takes a few days rest for acclimatization at this base camp. The camp 1 at 5800m is located on a long way distance through the ridges of the mountain. It is little bit hard times to reach and climb on the camp 1. From there also the panoramic view of Tilicho lake down below can be seen.

Camp 2 is located at high of approximately 6200m and way is more difficult to reach at this point. We should use the fixed rope on the way to reach camp 2. The elevation is about 40 Degree slope. From camp 2, the way directly goes to the Top of the Tilicho pea; and the climbing is little bit hard with an elevation of 60 degree up towards the top Tilicho peak. Some times there are chances of avalanche, so team should be careful at this time to go ahead climbing. By end of reaching on the top the ridge is little bit difficult to climb.

We have just returned from another fantastic trek with Rajendra. This was the second trip back to Nepal and the third trek with Rajendra. We were very lucky and had great weather. The acclimatizing day to thame was nice and the views from the 5th lake above Gokyo were superb. As a guide Rajendra was a very class act. He insured the lodges treated us well, prepared delicious and hygienic food and his knowledge about the mountain and Nepali culture add a new dimension to the trek. I definitely recommend walking out to Phaplu as the trek below Lukla is completely different and a pleasant change. We are already talked about our next trip back to Nepal and I am looking forward to Langtang or a trekking Peak Unique Path Trekking took very good care of us and we cannott wait to return.

What a fantastic trip! From the moment we landed in Kathmandu, Unique Path took care of everything for us. Babu had organized to collect us from the airport , had arranged our hotel for us, and of course had planned our trek perfectly to fit our requirements. Whilst on the trek , our guide Ram and porter Saran both were very friendly and informative and made sure we had a wonderful time. All in all , we could not have asked for a better first trip to Nepal—and this was all done to the wonderful team at unique Path. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommended Unique Path to anyone considering a trekking holiday in Nepal. Special thanks to Babu for all his help before and during our trip , and thanks also to Ram for making sure our time on the trial was so enjoyable. Next time we will come in Nepal, we will be sure to be in touch! Next time we will come in Nepal, we will be sure to be in touch!

What a great adventure!! We just got back from a fantastic trek in the Everest Region. Our guide Ram and our porter Janak were great. They were friendly and helpful and lots of fun. We went from June 12 to 26,2004 and the weather was fine. We got lots of great views and not much rain. We also loved how flexible our itinerary was. We changed our plan a few times based on how we felt. Thanks for AWESOME trip!!
