OVERVIEW

Padum To Leh Via Cha Cha La- Rubrang La & Markha Valley
Trekking in Padum or Padam, the capital of Zanskar region, opens up several outlying villages and monasteries, which form the nucleus of the region. This hard but very rewarding trek takes one from Padum to Zangla. As on the Padum- Lamayuru Trek and is only recommended for the second half of August because from Zangla to Markha many crossings have to be made over large rivers.

We were very happy to find Unique Path Trekking for the trip around Nepal. First we went to Chitwan National Park, It was a very impressive trip, real wild life, life in the jungle, good service, nice environment and amazing nature. We saw many wild animals. Then we went for second trip to Bardia was also very great, we even saw three wild Tigers in the forest. Then in the last we went to Ghorepani trekking near pokhara. Off course, the trekking was exciting as well, I learned many think in the mountain, I am really curious to know that how people live in the mountain and how they survived their life. These all trips were good experience and unforgettable memory in my life time. We would like to thank to Unique Path Trekking for a well arranged trip & for all your support and care. We would like to warmly recommend to any one. Thank you!

Hi Babu, Just wanted to say thanks for the trip (Everest Panoramic). Everything was fantastic, the trek was well organized and we were looked after better than we could have hoped for. Our guide (Sanu) went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable, warm and got the most out of out trip. My only regret is that we couldn’t spend more time out there.

Our third trek with unique path and this time off to the Everest region 2013-4. Trek 1 – the Annapurna circuit 2008. Trek 2 – Langtang Valley and Gosainkund Pass 2011. We arrived into Kathmandu 23 December as arranged excited about flying over to Lukla and hiking in the Everest region. We spent 24 December waiting for our flight to Lukla – delayed then cancelled. They rebooked us into the same lovely hotel for a second night. 25 December we tried again to fly to lukla. Unfortunately again delayed due to high wind, then finally cancelled. Do we try again tomorrow 26 dec?? Some Trekkers had been waiting for five days, do we?? Our guide Raj suggested it would be wise to do an alternative trek. So it was decided to do Poon Hill and ABC (Annapurna base camp). Flights to pokhara were also cancelled due to fog there. So, 6 hours later still Christmas Day we arrived by private car to Pokhara and spent the night in a hotel near the lake. On 26 December we set off for the 10 day circuit. Absolutely amazing and beautiful!!. Back to Pokhara and to the same charming garden hotel. The next day we flew back to Kathmandu, and back to our hotel where we spent the first two nights. Unique path re organized everything!! There was absolutely no stress or worries. Our set itinerary included only two nights hotel accommodation and return flights to Lukla, plus all the guest houses, guide, porter etc. We spent an extra three nights in hotels, had a private car, and managed to get one flight. Would you believe on our departure to Australia we were given a refund for the airfare that was cancelled. We did not expect this, as we received all the other extras. This shows that this company can be trusted. They are flexible, and they know how to treat their customers. This is a company that I can certainly recommend. We will be coming back for our fourth trip, because we still have the Everest region to explore!!

We just returned from a very beautiful and exciting trek through the Langtang Valley. Lila and his team did a great job in guiding, cooking and taking care of us. Especially when Sonja got injured we were very amazed about the professional handling of this unexpected situation and appreciated the carrying in particular the hot bag, which provide us the most valuable item on the trek. In addition, we had lot of fun with the team be it with games and dance and music sessions. The cooking provided by Suresh and his team was delicious and of an unexpected variety. In summary it was just the Ganjala we missed, the rest was just perfect which was due to a fascinating landscape and Lila and his team. We are already considering to come back and would recommend Unique Path at anyone.
