Phulchwoki Hill is one of the most prominent peaks 2829m/ 9050ft. high, which surrounds the valley of Kathmandu. Phulchwoki Day Hike is one of the popular hikes in Kathmandu. This mountain, as its name suggests ( Phul means flower in Nepali) is a natural garden of wild roses, yellow jasmine, iris and other native flowers. The summit is a rich grove of rhododendrons of various hues. A jeep able road leads to the top of the hill where there is a Buddhist shrine. A youthful hiker stands a good chance of scaling the peak in a little more than three hours. The place has all the makings of a peaceful resort area.

Then upon reaching Phulchowki Danda, you will be blessed with the view of the snow-capped peaks. Also, the viewpoint provides a view of the entire Kathmandu valley. After exploring sometime at the top, we will now descend downwards for about 3 hours and reach Godawari. The Godawari is famous for the botanical garden, so we will explore the garden and return back to Kathmandu. Itinerary For Phulchowki Day Hike

6:00 am: Our trek guide will assist you from the hotel and drive to Godawari

7:00 am: Arrival at Godawari and have your breakfast

7:30 am: Start your hike from Godawari. Hike for about 4 hours and reach the top at Phulchowki Danda. The hill is famous for the panoramic view of the Himalayas. Besides,  the journey will be filled with various types of jungle hubs, vegetation. As well as one can witness a variety of Birds. On the other hand, You can explore the Bhairab temple and nine traditional water sprouts on your way to the top.

12:00 pm: Reaching the top of the hill, you can spare some time witnessing the natural landscapes as well as snow-capped peaks. The hike commands the broadest view of the entire valley as well as the stunning view from Annapurna to the west to the Gaurishankar and Dudh Kunda mountain range to the east. Similarly, visit Phulchowki Mai temple at the top of the hill.

2:00 pm: After exploring some time at the top start hiking down to the Godawari 

5:00 pm: visit the botanical Garden after descending to Godawari.

5:30 pm: Drive back to Kathmandu
