Welcome to Nepal!
Nature talks to you hereabouts…you will find Nepal much different to other places you visit…
When you come over to Nepal for a holiday, you are likely to experience the better of two worlds: one a world you are totally familiar with; the other a world you probably never knew off before. Nepal is perhaps the leader of adventure tourism among Himalayan nations with the tallest mountains, diverse exciting culture, and a friendly, hectic appeal that has turned this country into a hot destination for travellers and trekkers for decades. You don’t have to hike above the tree lines to get a sense of the spell binding, natural and cultural flavors of Nepal. The quaint chocolate box villages found on the rims of ancient Kathmandu and World Heritage sites in the historical capital can be experienced on our whirlwind tours. We will guide you through the foothills & Village Heartlands on hiking holidays and or combine your trips across the borders of Tibet and Bhutan where you can explore extraordinary cultural attractions to give your vacation a memorable conclusion you will never forget in a lifetime.
Nepal is known worldwide as a ‘Hikers Haven’ and the best way to enjoy the sublime beauty of this country is by foot. Start with the Annapurnas of Nepal which offers treks to suit greenhorns and even the veteran mountain climber. And this is just one part of Nepal’s vast alpine regions. You can venture into a gentle walk to the foothills or go on a luxury lodge trek. There’s also an option into the wild of the ‘Annapurna Sanctuary’. However, the king of all treks here is the Annapurna Circuit, but if you want some more depth of the wild and remote, you can do the Naar Phu and Annapurna Round trek; the options here are many.
If the Everest region is still ‘king of treks’, then the EBC is the heart beat of this region for seasoned trekkers. And if you want to do Everest Base Camp in luxury, there are some pampering en-suite lodges on the trail. To go deeper into the Everest region beyond Base Camp there are some options. You can hike to the turquoise Gokyo Lakes or clamber up the trailblazing 3 high passes; and then you have the ultimate high Everest trekking peak like Mera Peak or Island Peak. And if you still can’t decide between Everest and Annapurna, simply do both of them on our Annapurna & Everest Panorama Trek or Annapurna & Everest in Style.
If it’s in your genes for the true wild, Unique Path Trekking will escort you off-the-beaten-path with the lesser known Ganesh Himal, the mystifying arid country of the Kingdom of Mustang, the far-flung base camps of Kangchenjunga and the traditional Tibetan Yolmo culture of Manaslu on the typical Manaslu Circuit, all of which combine to offer you an unusual experience of this gripping and lovely Himalayan nation.
Nepal’s Langtang region never fails to impress us with its countryside fertile valleys and beauty. Some great options would be the short Langtang valley trek and the Langtang Helambu trek with its perfectly balanced ecosystems and lush rolling valleys. The Gosainkunda lake trek also offers some unimaginable beauty. If you wish to opt for something more adventurous, the Ganjala Pass trek will give you an unforgettable experience of this astonishing region.
Unique Path Trekking is one of the safest adventure companies in the country to entrust your holidays with, there is absolutely no compromise when it comes to your safety wherever you travel with us in Nepal, or even across the borders into Tibet and Bhutan. Much of the visitors we have are ‘referred’ clients recommended by guests known to us over the years; and this only increases our zeal to perform even more…right to the hilt. Welcome to Nepal!! For any trip you choose to do, we promise you one thing: you’ve never seen any other country like this.
About Our Company
Travel down a Unique Path with us, we’ll give you classic journeys and local secrets you are unlikely to find on Google…
Unique Path Trekking & Expedition P. Ltd is a wholly Nepali-owned company, having been in adventure tourism business for more than two decades. We were established in 1998 and are uniquely skilled in escorted adventure tours to spectacular destinations in the Himalayas of South East Asia that covers Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan; offering you a world where you discover the unknown from the known. Our mission is to share our enthusiasm for trailblazing travel with like-minded people throughout the planet.
We understand that travelling is a big decision which must be taken with care; it’s not every day you fly across the world to enjoy the souks of Asia or the exclusive tranquility of the Himalayas. We simply want to say we know what you want: a meaningful holiday that gives you a complete sense of fulfillment and purpose. Ours is not the usual idea of guided travel. Our trips are not for travellers who move around shepherded in large groups, sightseeing with video cams from the windows of luxury buses. We handle our clients individually, experience over the years has taught us to acknowledge that each traveler needs his space and have their own individual yearnings. Wherever necessary, we go the mile to try and fit in all participants in our tours according to their needs and wishes without spoiling the joys of camaraderie in our exciting journeys.
We appreciate what Real life experiences are all about and know you’re are always looking for something unusual, a special moment you want to remember for a lifetime. In an instant you could be walking through some unexpected village in a remote corner of the Himalayas, welcomed with a typical village cooked organic meal with your new local friends or laughing it off with a weird means of transportation – maybe riding on the back of a mountain yak!! These unexpected experiences are what our trips are all about, offering you a look into the great wild like no one else.
At most times, people you can rely on to show you the heart of a destination are ones that were born and grew up there, and most of our trekking staff are pure bred locals who cut their first tooth on these harsh beautiful mountains you trek in. Our leaders are not only your guides; they’re your teacher and mountain guides with core experiences from the grassroots. They’ll just as easily hike you through the trails on isolated massive mountains like you’d find your way in some unknown city in your country and help you strike up a chat with the locals – and all with a smile, making you feel at home in some of the most remote mountainous terrain on earth. Our trekking and peak climbing crews are highly motivated, friendly and will not hesitate for a second to lay their lives on the line to save yours if the need ever arises in unpredictable situations. Our guides are trained by the Nepal Mountaineering association, the Ministry of Tourism and at the high altitude medical training center in Nepal.
Our country is yours as much as it’s ours…you came here because you LOVE IT!!!
We are committed to protecting the natural ecosystems when we design your trips and ensure that the area is kept clean when we conclude our journey.
We strictly follow the norms of the International Porters Protection Group (www.ippg.net) and make sure our guides and porters are well equipped and geared to providing you flawless services, we know looking after them is critical to your safety and happiness throughout the trip.
We avoid campfires and we strongly discourage trekkers from buying wood-fueled hot showers in lodges along the trail. Our trips are planned in a way that ensures we ‘give something back’ to the local folks in areas we travel. Our present program is project called ‘Practical Tourism’’ – ‘Keep the Mountains Clean – Give back to the Community’’. The perception behind our Practical Tourism initiative is grounded on the culture of “travel with a purpose”. This is made up of small group adventures, each about ten days in length, wherein members commit four to five days of their holiday to making a difference to a community in need.
Unique Path Trekking operates over 150 holiday listings that begin in Nepal and goes across the borders into Tibet and Bhutan. this includes: 4 season outdoor breaks, cultural tours, historical excursions, classic countryside walks, treks on off-the-beat-trails, go-wild river rafting, kayaking, remote wilderness treks, overland tours, visiting exclusive heritage sites, thrilling mountain bike tours, spiritual tours, cozy home stays, practical volunteer programs, unique jungle safaris, all domestic and international ticketing services, yoga with meditation, spa therapies and reliable transportation services throughout the Himalayas.
