Langtang Helambu Trek - 08 Days

Trip Overview

Langtang Helambu trek about 72 kilometers northeast of Kathmandu, is noted for its scenic grandeur and pleasant climate. The Helambu region, extending from north of Taramarang to the tree limit of the Gosainkunda Lake and lower slopes of Jugal Himal, has several highland Tamang and Sherpa villages, scattered on both sides of the Malemchi Khola.

This trek is rated as an easier trek because the elevations are lower, ranging between 800m. and 3600m., which indicates less climbing and warmer temperatures. One advantage to this trek is there are fewer trekkers here than on the Annapurna trek and some parts of the Everest treks, but there is still a wide range of cultures and spectacular scenery.

what our previous clients say about us?

Dear Babu,
Sorry for the delay, but I would like to thank you and your team specially Mr Adhikari for the wonderful arrangements made for our trek to Langtang and Gosaikund. We had a most wonderful time and in spite of hurdles like inclement weather etc, your team were great and I shall always remember Mr Adhikari\'s catch phrase \"Its possible\" to every request, some outlandish, made by our bunch of sometimes intemperate travelers! We look forward to more treks with you guys now that you all have spoilt us. Thank you guys once again.

Hi Babu,
"I would like to thank you very much for organizing our trekking in Langtang. We really appreciate the good team which we had. Suresh was a great guide. He was very patient with all of us, in particular when our son always slowed down the trekking speed because he was watching birds. Tillac was also very helpful and supportive. On day 3 we split our group, and Tillac took our children from Langtang to Kjanjin Gompa while the "elderly" stayed with Suresh and Rupes in Langtang village to cure the headache of my wife Rupes was also great. I am convinced that he will become a good tour guide. Within the next weeks, I will copy our pictures on a CD and send it to your office to the attention of Suresh. Of course you or anyone else can make free use of the pictures. The Annapurna base camp trek is still in my mind, although we may need a few days more than other trekkers. If we have another chance to visit Nepal in a year or two, I will certainly ask you to organizie our tour again Meanwhiole I will recommend your team to our friends to plan to visit Gokyo in autumn this year." Best regards
Herbert
