HIGHLIGHT OF THE TREK
Explore Sherpa museum in Namche Bazar, Panoramic view from Syanbuche – Experience Sherpa culture in Khumjung village- Ascent Gokyo Ri, Grand view of Everest, Choyu, Lhotse, Nuptse and Amadablam

DIFFICULTIES OF THE TREK
Since the terrain can be hard and the days long, hikers on these treks should be in good physical condition and have some previous mountain walking experience. But It does not require any technical experience. Steep climbing may be involved, although it is never necessary to use ropes.

ACCOMMODATION AND PACKAGE - TEA HOUSE ON FULL BOARD PACKAGE
We would like to inform you that in Everest area, we get nice mountain lodge (Tea house), so during the trekking period, we sleep and eat in the lodges, which will be comfortable and cheaper as well.

In this arrangements, we includes your meals( Breakfast, lunch and dinner with tea and coffee), accommodation, transportation, flight tickets, trekking permits, all government taxes airport tax, Government licensed holder guide and porter (all the things of guide and porter such like and theirs' food, drinks, insurance, salary, equipments, transportation, local tax etc).

Short Description of Everest Gokyo ri
Everest Gokyo ri Trek is the best destination for trekkers. This trek begins at the mountain airstrip at Lukla a one hour flight from Kathmandu. Our destination is the high altitude lakes of Gokyo at over 4200 mtrs. Less frequented than the E.B.C route the trek provides some tremendous high altitude trekking and a visit to the second largest glacier in the World. From the top of Gokyo Ri there are some spectacular mountain views including Everest. We return to Lukla and our flight back to Kathmandu

Itinerary in Details

Day 01 Kathmandu(1310m/4298ft). Our airport representative will be received you at the airport and transfer to hotel. It is 7km and takes about 10 minutes. Our tour leader will brief the group about the trip during the pre-departure meeting. This will be held at 5.00pm. The briefing will cover the itinerary and re-confirm flight times and what time the city tour will depart on Day 2. Departure from Hotel for typical Nepali dance and food at Kathmandu kitchen. O/N at Hotel Vaishali. O/N at Hotel

City guided tour start in Kathmandu

Day 02Kathmandu city sightseeing. Breakfast. Today we explore the culturally diverse city of Kathmandu by bus with a local guide to ensure you receive the best explanations about the amazing sites seen on the tour. These include, Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath, Swayambunath (Monkey Temple) and Patan Durbar square. It is about 35 Km. It takes 5:30 hours. O/N at Hotel

Gokyo trek start

Day 03 Kathmandu to Phakding (2610mtrs/8563ft) Breakfast. An early start takes us to Tribhuwan International Airport for the 30-minute flight to Lukla (2804mtrs). On arrival at the airport by our guide will brief us and introduce our porters before we begin our trek towards Phakding (2610mtrs). 3 hours.

Day 04 Phakding to Namche Bazaar(3440m/11286ft). We continue our trek heading towards Namche Bazaar, which is at an altitude of 3535m. 5:30 hours

Day 05 Rest in Namche Bazaar and day hiking around Namche (3440m/11286ft). Known as the Gateway to Everest・we will spend today here in order to acclimatise and adjust to the thinning air. As well as in the morning, we hike upto to museum celebrating the traditional customs of the Sherpa people to visit. More importantly, from here you will get the first proper glimpse of Everest and the surrounding mountains. And at the afternoon, we hike up the Syanboche Airport, and Everest View Hotel and sightseeing at the Khumjung village,which is big settlement of Sherpa people. 5 hours.

Day 06 Namche Bazaar to Dole (4200m/13860ft.) 5:30 hours

Day 07 Dole to Machchhermo (4470m/14751ft.) 5 hours

Day 08 Machchhermo to Gokyo (4790m/15807ft) 5:30 hours

Day 09 Hiking to Gokyo Ri and back to Gokyo Lake.
This day early in the morning we have steep climb up to the top of Gokyo Ri (5483m/1983ft) ample rewards to one attempts this trip. There are stunning views of the supper Gokyo valley, the massive Ngozumpa Glacier and an incredible panoramic view of the whole Khumbu Himalayas, such as giants as Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu (8481m), Cho-Oyu (8153m) and Gychung Kang (7922m) can be seen. Those who explore the glacier and Gokyo peak are rewarded. This day we have for acclimatization and after noon back to the camp.

Day 10 Gokyo to Dole (4200m/13860ft.) 5:30 hours

Day 11 Dole to Tenbuche via Phortse(3446m/11361ft.) 6 hours

Day 12 Trek down to Namche(3440m/11286ft) 5 hours

Day 13 Namche to Lukla (2840m9372ft.) 6 hours

Day 14 Flight back to Kathmandu. 35 minutes

Day 15 Trip end.

COST INCLUDES DURING THE TRIP:

  • International air fare to Nepal.

  • Nepal entry visa fee US$ 30 (duration 60 days from date of issue) you may easily issue the visa upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport Kathmandu.

  • Departure Airport Tax in Nepal approx. US$ 24.

  • Items of a personal nature such as alcoholic drinks, cold drinks, laundry.
