I had the
privilege of
using Unique
Path trekking to
fulfil a life
long dream of
seeing Mt
Everest. We did
the Everest
Panorama trek,
which involved
an 8 day round
trip from Lukla
to Pangboche.
Our guide Ram
was very
experienced and
knowledgeable
about the area
and culture and
was very
flexible in
meeting all of
our needs. Our
itinerary was
modified as we
went along so
that we could
fit more into
our 8 days. It
was the best
experience of
our lives and
booking over the
Internet was
easy and without
any hassles.
The attention
and service from
all the staff at
Unique Path,
from the moment
we arrived in
Kathmandu to the
moment we left,
was excellent.
We sincerely
thank Babu and
his team for
making our trip
so enjoyable and
hope to come
back soon to
experience more
of this
magnificent
region.

We had a
wonderful time
during our stay
in Nepal. Unique
Path Trekking
organized
everything: the
hotels, the
visit to Chitwan
National Park
and the
Annapurna Base
Camp trek. It
was our first
trek in Nepal
and we liked it
very much. Our
guide Ganesh and
porter Ram were
both very nice,
helpful and
proffesional.
Ganesh took care
of everything
during the trek,
including
accommodation
and meals, so we
had no worries
and could fully
enjoy the beauty
of the
mountains. The
weather was
great, so we had
magnificent
views of the
Annapurna
region. We will
surely recommend
Unique Path to
all our friends.
We also plan to
come back soon
to do some more
trekking,
especially the
Everest Base
Camp trek.

We really
enjoyed our trek
from Lukla to
Gokyo-ri,
returning to
Namche via
Tengboche -
brilliant views
of Everest in
many places.
Jeevan our guide
was excellent, I
hope that he is
still enjoying
using my old mp3
player, as was
Shambu the
porter - always
smiling, never
once
complaining,
even though he
was carrying two
sets of luggage.
We were met
promptly on
arrival at both
Kathmandu and
Lukla and
supported until
we returned back
to Kathmandu
airport for the
flight home.
There was
sufficient
flexibility in
the trek
arrangements to
allow my wife
and I to see our
daughter at
Machermo, spend
some time with
her over the
next four days
and visit Photse
and Tengboche as
a detour on the
return leg.
Many thanks,
Madeleine and
Jim Newcomb. |

It was really
wonderful.
Unique Path
Trekking had
arranged
everything very
well, given us
two very nice
people (one
guide, one
porter), and we
made friends
with them. The
scenery was
fantastic, and
we had mostly
good weather. It
was an
experience that
we will always
remember. Do you
need a longer
story?
Kind regards

We would like
you to pass on
our very best
wishes and
thanks to Ganesh
also. I have to
tell you, he was
marvelous on our
trek. I found
the walking very
difficult,
especially as I
had developed a
cold just before
I went, but
Ganesh looked
after us
extremely well
and thanks to
him I did make
it to Gorak Shep
and Larry to
Base Camp. If it
had not been for
his
encouragement I
would have been
tempted to give
up sooner than I
did, and now I
am so glad I
made it up there
as I have
amazing memories
of the mountains
and the people
who live there.
We can certainly
see why Sir
Edmund Hillary
is so captivated
by the place.
Base Camp was
the highlight of
Larry's trip,
and still is
even after our
10 day visit to
Rajesthan in
India. That too
was enjoyable,
but neither of
us will ever
forget our
experiences in
the Himalayan
Mountains.
Once again thank
you and I have
attached a photo
I took of Larry
and Ganesh which
he might like a
copy of?
Anyway, thanks
again,
Regards,

Trekking in
Nepal was a
beautiful
experience and
the Everest
Panorama Trek
with Unique Path
Trekking was a
very good
choice. Our
group was very
well looked
after by our
guide. The days
were filled with
sunshine and
clear blue
skies. The
beauty of the
mountains is
indescribable.

"We would like
to Thank you
Babu and the
boys, for a most
wonderful
and exciting
trek. We did the
Annapurna
circuit, which
was a lot more
difficult then
we expected, but
through them, we
had a most
enjoyable time.
Babu, not only
being very
professional and
informative, was
very helpful,
charming and
witty. (We
always groaned
when he said
that the next
day we were
going to
experience a lot
of Nepali flats,
because we knew
we were going to
suffer). Not
only was he a
guide, but our
friend, you
could trust, and
share a joke
with. We were
very impressed,
when a few in
our group could
not go on and
had to go back
down, within a
few minutes he
had an
alternative trek
mapped out for
them, by going
back down and
going back up on
the other side,
where we could
meet them. So
they could still
enjoy their
trek.
And the boys,
our porters,
were absolutely
wonderful. They
smiled, shared
jokes with us
and were ever so
helpful. (even
wanted to help
carry our day
packs when we
were suffering
and they already
had 30 kilos on
their backs!).
We will
definitely do
another trek
with Unique Path
Trekking.
And we really
cannot thank you
enough Babu, for
your help, and
making our trek
so memorable. We
are planning to
do the Annapurna
Sanctuary,
September next
year maybe.
Namaste and take
care
Kind Regards

Myself and 3
other Irish
friends
completed the
11-day Everest
Base Camp/Kala
Pathar Trek. The
trek was an
absolutely
fantastic
experience that
I'll never
forget. The trek
was enjoyable at
all times thanks
to our expert
guide Prem
Khatri, to whom
we are very
grateful. Babu
took us to meet
our guide in
Kathmandu the
night before the
trek and
described what
we should expect
on the trek and
advised us on
what to bring.
We felt very
assured from the
start. Our guide
flew with us to
Lukla, taking
care of
everything at
the fairly
chaotic airport,
and took care of
accommodation
and food all
throughout the
trek. Prem was a
great source of
knowledge and
information
throughout the
trek, having
done it many
times before.
There wasn't a
question he
couldn't answer,
and in his
near-perfect
English I might
add. Prem had no
problem
understanding
our various
Irish accents
(Donegal,
Dublin, Meath
and Carlow). He
seemed to know
practically
every other
guide and many
of the locals
along the trek,
and had very
useful contacts
in the Airline
that allowed us
to fly back to
Kathmandu a day
ahead of
schedule. We
learned a lot
about Nepali
culture from our
frequent and
prolonged
conversations,
which added
hugely to the
whole
experience.
I would heartily
recommend Unique
Path Trekking
when trekking in
the Himalayas.
Babu, with his
experience and
professionalism,
was a great help
in arranging our
very successful
and
unforgettable
trek to Everest
Base Camp /
Kalapathar.

Babu....I wanted
to tell you how
much I enjoyed
the trek we took
with Ram and
Sannu (spelling)
.... without
them and all of
their careful
guiding we would
not have had
much success.
Ram was very
aware of all of
us and our
limitations and
how we were
doing...I don't
think any of us
were aware of
the effects of
the high
altitude and how
exhausting the
hiking could be
at those
heights.....Ram
was great...easy
to talk to, very
knowledgeable,
very well
organized, very
much in control,
and a very nice
person to be
around.
Though I didn't
have any real
problems, he was
very sensitive
to the health
and well-being
of
everyone...and
when there was a
need he was
there.....including
finding horses
for those in our
group that were
having problems
getting down....
I think that
Sannu has the
ability to be an
exceptional
guide...under
Ram's guidance
he was a great
help...high
energy, great
spirit, always a
happy face and
ready to
help....he does
need to learn
English in a
serious
way...without
this skill he
will always be
limited to an
assistant role,
when his
personality is
one that would
inspire
leadership....
If anyone asks I
would say our
trek with your
organization was
very
professional,
very well
organized,
easily adaptable
to changes, and
very enjoyable.
It provided all
the guidance,
information and
physical help
necessary to
make for an
exceptionally
wonderful
experience...
Thanks gain for
a job well done
and I hope to
see you again
soon...I will
recommend your
group to
everyone and
nayone who would
go trekking in
Nepal........
Best
regards....Bill
Pinkney |
