Many thanks unique path trekking for providing a chance for all of us to experience+ enjoy one of our life time dream. We were a group of seven kiwis ranging in age for 47 to 60 and we all successfully completed the jomsom trek and had a great time. It was amazing and we achieved more than we thought more than what we expected and it was better from expected with many contrasts in people and countryside along the trek. Where found it harder than expected, but was very pleased to have finished. The Nepali flats were a little more than expected in places.

Great guide, Hari, and a great chance to sample Nepali life. People and places were cleaner than expected given the conditions they have to live in. Great food at tea houses and good accommodation, we all learnt to sleep on hard beds + pillows. Jenny was surprised at how much more that she saw + noticed on her second visit and Chitwan was bliss- especially swimming with the elephant. Noelene felt like it was coming home and really enjoyed her 5th visit and catching up with previous guide + porters. We all enjoyed playing Cricket along the way and had our test match in pokhara; Nepal vs NZ. It was a draw after 2 innings each. The look on Hari’s face when he was bowled out twice by Eliene was a sight to be seen.

Our trip was remarkable for all of us. The trek from the lush green of the Pokhara region to the dry high desert we will never forget. The region is so rich in culture and beauty- we felt privileged to be able to experience it.

And we had so much fun! Ram and Tilak were delightful traveling companions. Trading card games and tricks in the evenings was an added bonus- poker games betting with matches- who would have thought..... And of course we simply couldn't have done the trek without them and are sincerely grateful- they took such good care of us!

My only regret is that the trek was too short!

Emile already has said he wants to come back in the spring to see the rhododendrons in bloom! (me too).

In our search for trekking office who could accompany us during the trek “ around Manaslu” .We got some information from information from earlier clients which brought us to Unique Path Trekking. They immediately accepted our question for an alternative route around Manaslu including a side – trip into Tsum Valley.

Our expectation where completely satisfied and it became a unforgettable trek in a culture, religion( Tibetan Buddhism) and geogratic way. Thanks to the spontaneous curiosity of our guide Tilak, we had a close contact with the habitants of region we crossed. The spirit in the the group of porters, staff and us was very pleasant at all times. It was a nice and wonderful trekking for us. The Guide and porter were helpful to us. In Poon hill, we saw panoramic mountains scenery. From the way to Tadapani, it was beautiful, because the road was made by snow. We do hope to visit Nepal soon in near future ! Than you Unique Path for great trip !
